Virtual machine
A virtual machine is a complete configuration of hardware resources created to run applications and the OS. A VM can be represented as a computer or server, and it is possible to emulate its individual components.
Virtual machines are used for software testing or for simulating situations in the network structure. VMs are also used for safe surveillance of malicious objects (virus programs). It is an indispensable tool for cloud infrastructure deployment (IaaS).
