Platform as a Service (PaaS)

A service delivery model in the cloud in which the customer is given access to the resources of the components of the cloud infrastructure: technical and informational, which includes the operating system, test environment, database management system and intermediary software.

The benefits of PaaS are optimized and targeted. The client does not spend resources to form a complete configuration. Often, such a service is ordered by software development teams in order to test the software.

PaaS by default includes administration and configuration of the infrastructure. The management options are also taken care of by the implementing organization.
